WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
In January 2024 I played in Germany at the Munster Jazz Festival with the Anais Drago trio; wonderful theatre, lots of people and really difficult repertoire. It was a really strong emotion!
WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS
When I sit behind the drums, I rely completely on the music. It's what the musicians around me are playing that changes my approach to the instrument.
FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO
My first pair of drumsticks was Vic Firth 5a. Over the years I've tried many different types of drumsticks, but at the end I went back to basic. The only amazing change is the double glaze finish!
