My name is Kalen Anderson. I got my start 17 years ago with a Christmas gift, the Rock Band video game. What started out as a fun pastime at home has now led me to cities all over the world. I love meeting the people who have connected to what I do and constantly trying to better my skills set and improve.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    One of the most memorable performance moments for me was when my wireless pack died in the middle of a song. I had no click, no guitar, no vocals, nothing. I had to watch my guitarists arm as if it was a metronome. It was one of the most nerve wracking 3 minutes of my life but was relieving when the song ended and not even the band knew what just happened.

    Luke Holland was a pretty big inspiration for me. He opened my eyes to how far you can take linear drumming and it definitely influenced how I play today.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

    Vic Firths 2B is my go to. They are extremely durable and deliver power I haven’t found anywhere else. I don’t worry about them breaking or what I’m playing being lost in the mix.
