David Sagamonyants

SKRYPTONITE, SOLO ARTIST, SD DRUM SHOW

David Sagamonyants was born in 1987 in Vladikavkaz, a small town in Russia.
His parents have taught him to love music since childhood. At the age of six, he started studying violin at musical school. Although he was performing as a violin player, David still was striving to play drums. At 14, he started working for the local pop and jazz bands, i.e. Joe Lynn Turner, Steve Turre, MOT, SKRYPTONITE and others. David also is a creator and director of the "SD DRUM SHOW" Festival.

    As a child, when my family didn't have a lot of money, I was given a pair of "Vic Firth American Classic 5A" sticks for my birthday.I was the happiest child.I have examined every layer of wood in these sticks and now I am very happy to be part of the family of the best Vic Firth in the world
