  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

This is a very difficult question to answer. There have been many stages in my career that have prepared me for the next level. The first level would be my formative years and early performances with my school Concert Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band. The next level in my career was playing hundreds of shows and touring with my band Year of Confession. The next level after that was being a Director who led history making performances at the DCI, DCA and WGI World Championships. Today I am working on more projects than ever before, as an Educator and as a Performer, and I'm planning so many NEW next level performances!

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

I'm constantly driven to be the most creative Educator and Drummer that I can be. I seek inspiration for my creativity from all types of music and every type of drummer, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Latin, Afro Cuban, Brazilian, Funk, R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Marching, Classical and Electronic music. I strive to be as open minded and diverse with. my musical interests as possible. The more knowledge I gain, the more people I can teach. Music, especially drums is engraved into every fabric of my being, it is as essential to my life, as breathing.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

I choose Vic Firth because their drumsticks feel like a natural extension of my hands, this helps my musical/creative expression flow effortlessly.
