  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Playing with our greats can sometimes be quite the pressure for the up and coming. Performing with Cyro Baptista for example appeared to be one of those moments for me, but after the first few notes it was clear that it was going to be a great night, all smiles no sweat (no cold sweat anyway). It was a paradigm changing experience. It made me believe in myself, and gave me a flow-experience which I'm striving for ever since on stage.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

First and foremost, listening to the greats is what inspires me. Regardless of it being old or new age. Music to me is a discipline self-discovery in which listening to others help finding and bringing your own voice forward. I also gain inspiration from many other disciplines and even studying nature itself.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

My absolute favourite is the SD2 sticks. If I ever had a stick of perfect dimensions-weight ratio with the perfect tip for the cymbals, this is it. The quality and consistency of Vic Firth sticks are "as good as it gets"!
