  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

In 2018, I played in the backup band when my daughter KINLEY performed her original song during the East Coast Music Awards Gala Show. Immediately after the performance, she won the Rising Star of the Year Award. Pretty special night!

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

An inner drive to always improve and learn new things has helped to keep the creativity spark alive. My goal of always being able to bring new ideas to my drums students also keeps the creativity alive.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

My favorite Vic Firth instrument is the MJC4 drumstick. I love the 5b-like diameter, long taper and maple wood that makes the stick very supple and flexible. It works perfectly for acoustic jazz gigs or louder blues shows.
